If you have extreme fear of heights, this isn’t for you. If you are travelling in a large group, get ready to be ripped off. If you want to stay away from the tourists mob, this is not the right place.

Need to update their hours on Google. It says they were open sadly they aren't open in the winter. On the positive side the weather was great and it was peaceful out there for some reason.

The information along the walk is adequate with the radio commentary provided. It's better to visit when it is less busy to enjoy the view without being squashed

This is a great place to see something you're not expecting you get to look over the edge of the mountain exclamation point and walk over it too!

I have been here several times, the view is breathtaking but the floor is not the best.

Is it worth the fee, that is down to personal opinion. You can drive past it and get similar view apart from standing on the expensive constructed glass stand.

If you think you are going to be standing over the Glacier as advertised, please think again. It's not even close.

What’s making this experience exciting is walking on a glass walkway on the cliff edge 918 feet above the ground. It really gets very busy during summer from 10 am till 4 pm. There’s also a lengthy line up to get tickets to the skywalk. Ticket costs $32 for adults, which isn’t bad if you’re alone. However, if you travel in a large group say with friends and family it will cost you an arm and a leg. Wait time could last 3-4 hours at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre before boarding. Shuttle bus transports you from the centre to the skywalk both ways. Once you get there, a radio hand held device is offered to guide you along the tour which is very educational and provides lots of info about the place. Most of the time, I have seen people who have acrophobia won’t walk on the glass.
