We stayed at Inns of Banff for 2 nights to celebrate the new years eve. The location was good, easy to find and not in the busiest part of the town. Staff were nice too! Special mention to Susan from the restaurant who assisted us during our breakfast. The inn is old and dated. Our room 460 and 461 were good for it's price, considering this is one of the cheapest during new years eve. We had a good view of the mountains. The room has ample space with 2 queen beds. Fridge, coffee maker, kettle, tv works great, the only downside was the alarm clock suddenly set off and won't stop (we never used it) their service arrived within minutes to fix it. The fire alarm set off at 530am on Jan 1, apparently someone removed a fire extinguisher that triggered the alarm. Overall the service was good but hotel and rooms are dated. I may stay here again.

This is an older economy hotel, we stayed 4 nights in the Swiss Village rooms. The beds were not comfortable and the lighting in the room was very poor even with all of the additional lamps on. There was a rotten hole in the floor by the door inside the bathroom under the lino. This was from the shower flooding the floor if the shower head wasn't positioned just right. There is no fan in the bathroom so it gets very humid after a shower and you should probably keep the bathroom door open. The general cleanliness of the room was decent upon arrival. They offer you $5 off dining in the on premises restaurants daily if you forego housekeeping daily, excluding your checkout date. The parking for the Swiss village is not adequate and becomes hard to find parking at the facility in the evenings. The bright spots are how friendly the front desk staff are, how quick they'll send you towels, etc if you call and request any. Lastly the view from the little balconies of the mountains is amazing. Overall would not stay here again even for the same $100 a night rate there are much better economy properties on the strip.

Not one to care if the rooms are dated, me and my family really enjoyed our stay. The room was big and had an amazing view, my daughter loved the Jacuzzi tub in our room and the king size bed. Aside from one server who worked in the hotel everyone was quite friendly and helpful. My only real complaint will sound like a broken record if you read through all of the reviews, cleanliness. I believe because the hotel is so busy with so many rooms that not enough time is spent on the clean up in between guests. It was also slightly annoying that they had a poster size ad up for their pub in the elevator and also pamphlets for it in our room even though it had been closed down for the season. We tried twice to check it out but were told it was closed in the spring until winter. That being said very little to complain about and we would stay there again. Do yourself a favor and try the Japanese restaurant on the second floor, such good sushi. make a reservation though they fill up quickly.

Hotel wasn't very clean. We booked for 4 ppl in a room, and received only 2 towels. This also happened to our friends other rooms. We had to call in for 2 more towels and told them we had 4 people again. The next day after they cleaned our room, we had 0 towels!! We didn't even have one to wipe our hands with. We had to call again to get 4 towels. As a hotel they need to really be wary of these things. Front desk was quite helpful though. Other than the towels and cleanliness, it was average, I will try another hotel next time.

Bit of a rough start; our room had a water leak in the bathroom, but the staff were very helpful and quickly switched us to a new room. The hotel is dated, but it was clean and comfortable! Well priced too.
